Most private sellers are unaware that real estate agents advertise simply to build their office’s profile… most private sellers are unaware that nearly all advertising money spent is wasted… most private sellers to a certain degree tend to copy what real estate agents do, and why wouldn’t you, after all they are supposed to know what they are doing!

Take the big detailed For Sale signboard agents use as an example, packed with information and detail of your property and even a few photos.  A buyer sees the sign, stops, has a read and drives off never to be heard from again… why?  Simply because they feel there is enough detail on the signboard for them to decide if it’s suitable for them or not! Agents make you pay for potentially losing a good buyer, why… because they get to promote themselves, they have their brand plastered over most of it! All you need is a simple sign that says FOR SALE and displays a contact phone number, a buyer will then have to call you for the details, when you get the call you can then “sell” it to them.
